About APL

The Academy for Precision Learning is a K-12 school that educates typically-developing students, and those across the autism spectrum, in an academically challenging and socially vibrant community. Our educational programming combines customized curriculum and innovative instructional methods to provide meaningful access and tangible progress for every student. Our goal is for every APL student to become a curious and engaged life-long learner who celebrates diversity, practices self-advocacy, and generates impact in their community.

We are currently hiring for the following positions:

Paraprofessional

APL seeks Paraprofessionals for the 2016-17 school year. Paraprofessionals provide one-on-one support to APLís neurodiverse student population. They are central to classroom teams, collaboratively implementing educational and behavioral plans, and building community with students and their families. They consult with their Head Teacher, Assistant Teacher, BCBA, and the Executive Director to promote student success and goals based achievement.

Substitute Paraprofessional

APL seeks substitute Paraprofessionals for the 2016-17 school year. Paraprofessionals provide one-on-one support to APLís neurodiverse student population. They are central to classroom teams, collaboratively implementing educational and behavioral plans, and building community with students and their families. They consult with their Head Teacher, Assistant Teacher, BCBA, and the Executive Director to promote student success and goals based achievement.

Substitute paraprofessionals are on-call, and will be notified a week ahead of time for the majority of openings
