APLís admissions process reflects our commitment to providing an inclusive learning environment where both neurotypical and neurodiverse students thrive. APL provides targeted opportunities that promote the academic achievement and social development of students who benefit from a smaller, supportive learning environment, including:
ē Students whose goals and academic experience are best supported by individualized learning
ē Students across the autism spectrum
ē Students who are behind academically and/or in their social/behavioral developments


Our admissions process is as individualized as our student body. Collaborative and community centered, it is designed to help your family assess if APL is the right fit for your student, and forms the foundation of the studentís unique learning plan.
Depending on your studentís application & needs, our admissions process may include a tour of the school, application review by a team with educational and clinical expertise, and a classroom observation, or an interview with your family and your studentís care team. APL is dedicated to providing strong academic opportunity, as well as behavioral and social-emotional supports that promote every studentís well-being, both within APL and the wider community.
