WHO IS APL FOR?
APLís admissions process reflects our commitment to providing an inclusive learning environment for neurodiverse students. APL provides targeted opportunities that promote the academic achievement and social development of students who benefit from a smaller, supportive learning environment, including: ē Students whose goals and academic experience are best supported by an individualized learning opportunity ē Students who struggle with anxiety or other mental health challenges ē Students across the autism spectrum ē Students who are behind academically and/or in their social/behavioral development
The APL admissions process includes a tour of the school, family interviews, and student observations. This collaborative process serves to help your family assess if APL is the right fit for your student and includes the development of an individualized plan for academic opportunities and behavioral and social-emotional supports that promote your studentís achievement and wellbeing in the classroom and beyond.Limited spots remain available in APLís K-12 classrooms for the 15-16 school year. If you are interested in attending, please contact us to begin the admissions process. APLís application can be downloaded here.
