Our Mission: Community Partners
This past holiday season, APL partnered
St. Vincent de
Paul and had a clothing drive. Over 68 bags were
donated by APL families and staff.
APL also received a grant from Seattle
Public Utilities to incorporate a composting and recycling
program within each one of the classrooms. We are on track to become an
official 'Washington Green School': http://www.wagreenschools.org/
In December, APL partnered with Menchie's Frozen Yogurt
and raised over $100 for APL. Thank you Menchies
and APL Community!!!
We are dedicated to
ensuring every student’s success through accelerated academic progress,
social development, character building and community involvement!
Helgagar, of Museo Art Academy, worked
hard with all of the APL students this past Winter to broaden their
artistic talents. She worked closely with many students to assist in
their Auction Art Projects. Students' online gallery can be viewed
